The Largest Group on Campus
At nearly 150 members, the Spirit of the Elks Marching Band (or SotE as we call it) is the largest single organization at BHS. This group plays at all home and away football games, all pep rallies, and at marching contests throughout the Fall Semester.
Success is a Habit
The 2020 Season marked the beginning of a new chapter for the Spirit of the Elks! Competitive success is the result of hard work that starts in June and goes year round!
Membership
- All students enrolled in a band class (winds, percussion, and guard) will be in the Spirit of the Elks Marching Band.
- All students will need to meet the financial obligations (flexible payment plans available). No student will ever be turned away from band due to financial hardship.
- All students are expected to attend summer band (usually beginning the first week of June and continuing the last week of July), all rehearsals, all games, and all contests. It's the largest team sport on campus!
